Course Goals

This course explores the use of features in phonology, from a range of perspectives.
How are sounds represented in the mind/brain? Exemplars, phonemes, or features?
How can various methodologies (phonology, phonetics, psycholinguistics, neurolingusitics)
be used to "prove" features?

Grading
- Research Paper: 60%
- Presentations: 30% (3 x 10%)

There is no final exam for this course.
Do the assigned readings BEFORE we discuss them in class.
