I am a fifth year graduate student and PhD candidate in the Department of Linguistics at the University of Maryland, College Park. I am a member of the Project on Children's Language Learning and the Infant Studies Labs.

My interests are in the acquisition of syntax, particularly in infants' knowledge of phrase structure and how they acquire it. Other interests include infants' acquisition of morphosyntactic dependencies and of phonological rules, as well as speech perception in Japanese.
