Research

I used to be a Baggett Fellow. I helped out with things related to Norbert Hornstein, Howard Lasnik and Juan Uriagereka's NSF Grant.

With Akira Omaki I'm running experiments testing extractability out of subject relatives and micro-variation in islands.

Brian Dillon, Akira, Pedro Alcocer and I are working on questions relating to the real-time processing of referential dependencies.

An ERP study on processing generics is in the works, too.

My undergraduate thesis, supervised by Sam Epstein at the U of Michigan, was on compound-/serial-verb constructions, with specific focus on such constructions in Hindi-Urdu (and Japanese).

My advisors are Jeff Lidz and Colin Phillips.

Annie Gagliardi and I run a morphology reading group. We meet on Wednesdays at 1:30pm.
